Each student will be assigned an advisor to assist in all aspects of VSGIS life. Each advisor acts
as an informal counselor to students, and counsels with particular attention to academic factors.
VSGIS teachers strive to provide students with tools and environments to facilitate learning.
Through regular counseling conducted for each subject every semester, deficiencies are
identified and guidance is provided in the direction of obtaining the best results. In addition to
these regular counselings, students can turn to all VSGIS staff as well as subject-specific
teachers when they need help with their studies.
VSGIS has a system that selects excellent students to provide supplementary classes to their
peers who are falling behind. Anyone can participate at a fixed time per week for each subject,
and students who are in charge can receive advice from the teacher for each subject through
the curriculum, textbooks, teaching methods, and reports of results.
Academic Dean’s
Office Support
The Academic Dean receives information about the student's academics and school life through
all staff and teachers, and can provide supplementary classes, retests, and counseling through
special instructions if necessary. In addition, students can request consultations regarding
conflicts with VSGIS staff or teachers, and these consultations are strictly confidential.
